Alex Davies
Alex Davis is an author, Creative Writer and Media Lecturer, writing workshopper and events co-ordinator based in Derby. He has taught extensively across genre fiction, often with a particular focus on horror, and is a regular monthly contributor to Writing Magazine discussing aspects of sci-fi, fantasy and horror fiction.
He has been an Associate Lecturer in Creative Writing for seven years at the University of Derby, and has more recently been an Associate Lecturer at De Montfort University on the Media program.
He works on a range of horror events including Winter Haunts and Spring Haunts (for Writing Magazine), The UK Ghost Story Festival, the Darkness in the Fields folk horror events and many more. As an author, he has a fiction and a non-fiction book published, as well as a range of short stories and articles.
